Definition of voltage regulator
pressure regulator is a device that can keep the downstream pressure stable regardless of changes in the gas flow rate and upstream pressure.
The pressure regulator should be able to: 1. Reduce the upstream pressure to a stable downstream pressure; 2. When the regulator fails, it should be able to limit the downstream pressure within a safe range.
Why do I need a voltage regulator
The ideal gas supply system transports gas from the wellhead to the end user without a pressure regulator;
The conditions for maintaining such an ideal supply system are that the user demand is constant, the mine's supply capacity is constant, and the two are consistent;
Such a system is actually impossible to exist. For this reason, a corresponding device-a voltage regulator-came into being.
