Both the liquefaction plant and the receiving terminal station use low temperature and atmospheric pressure storage tanks. This is because the LNG storage tanks in the receiving terminal station have a large volume (single tank volume greater than 50,000 m³), and other types of storage tanks cannot be used. The liquid is transported by LNG tanker, and the storage tank on the LNG tanker is also in the form of low temperature and normal pressure, and the pressure changes little. Moreover, a BOG condensing device is installed in the receiving terminal station, which can turn BOG into LNG again.

     Due to the liquefaction method in the liquefaction plant, the BOG produced during storage can be turned into regenerated gas for liquefaction. Therefore, low-temperature and atmospheric pressure storage tanks are used, and the amount of BOG evaporation has little effect on it.
