Steel storage tanks tanks should be set lightning protection anti-static grounding device, the grounding resistance should not be greater than 10 Ω. There shall be at least one grounding point every 30m along the bottom edge of the tank. There shall be no less than two grounding points for a single tank.

Lightning protection and anti-static grounding device should be thoroughly checked every spring, and the test grounding resistance value should meet the requirements.

Two soft copper wires with a cross-sectional area of not less than 25mm2 shall be used to connect the floating vessel and the tank wall of the floating roof tank.

The amount of oil in the storage tank should be run in the safe tank position. When the condensate oil level is higher than the heating coil, the steam riser should be used to heat the condensate oil, and then the steam coil should be used to heat the condensate oil after melting.

Do not wear synthetic clothing and shoes with iron nails on cans. The non-explosion-proof flashlight should not be opened or closed on the top of the tank. The oil pipeline fire and tank cleaning operation in the storage tank area shall comply with the industry regulations.

If a tank is on fire, report immediately and stop all operations on the tank. Organize fire fighting and start emergency plan at the right time.
